Modernization Update

A consistent, A.A.-inspired look

Updated the site’s colors to match aa.org, the national A.A. website, so our district site feels like part of the larger fellowship
Made all the buttons the same blue, so the site looks unified instead of mismatched

A header newcomers can act on

Kept the familiar header style people already recognize
Turned the hotline phone numbers into tap-to-call buttons, so someone in crisis can tap once to call instead of writing the number down
Added a phone icon so it is obvious these are call buttons
Cleaned up the menu spacing for a tidier look

A clearer top of the homepage

Rebuilt the two main buttons, Call Now and Find a Meeting, as large, easy-to-tap buttons with simple icons
Placed them side by side so newcomers see two clear next steps right away

Works well on phones

Adjusted the layout and button text so everything fits and works smoothly on a phone, where most newcomers visit

A more helpful footer

Added quick links and contact info to the bottom of the page, replacing the bare one-line footer
Added the A.A. District 41 logo to the footer, so the bottom of every page is clearly identified

A clearer identity

Added the A.A. District 41 logo to the top of every page, in keeping with the A.A. recovery symbol
Made the logo a one-tap way to return to the home page from anywhere on the site

Tidier event flyers

Made the two current event flyers match in size and style, so they read as neat cards instead of oversized images

A better Meeting Guide app section

Rebuilt this section with the official Google Play and App Store buttons and a short list of what the app does

Small finishing touch

Added the little site icon that shows in the browser tab

Good to know

All of this was done on a private practice copy of the site, the live site at dupage41aa.org has not changed
Nothing goes live until the group votes to approve it
The large banner image at the top is still being finalized, its design was inspired by the site’s original banner image
